In a world that needs to feed close to 10 Billion people in year 2050 any attempt of agricultural expansion must be dealt with responsibly.

There is no chance of a “Planet B”. At least not in any near future. Enzymes are a part of this responsibility.

A part of a commitment powered by nature. Enzymes can derive from the crop itself or be applied during later processing steps. In many cases enzymes are essential for optimal utilization of the lunch box of macro and micro-nutrients stored in the kernel. The group of starch converting enzymes, the amylases, play an important role in the conversion of starch to simpler sugar molecules that can be utilized efficiently in food and feed.

Our modest contribution to agriculture is the ability to measure key enzymes such as amylases at the farm, in the field or at the miller. We still think it is an important contribution.
